They reasoned that had all the 89 been opposed to the issue it would still have passed by two votes. Certified returns showed 1022 for the issue and 931 against. College President Eugene Voris was quoted in the May 13 issue of the Ontario paper as saying. “It is regrettable that the ballot shortage happened.
