The present commissioner was one of those leading the cam paign to oust chiselers from the relief rolls and was successful in enlisting the aid of enough officials to prevent w hat m ight have been an aw kard situation, both financially and politically. His record as a county commissioner and his record as a successful farm er, which is a business and a science in this modern age, are far more valuable than silly promises th a t he and all thinking voters know cannot be fulfilled.
