WEEK END SPECIALS OFF on large selection '* THE W ilso n ’s ‘ 2 APR!» C M IC K 'M ''**'' There is an amazing lack o f in terest in Oregon’s forthcoming pri mary election in May. It may be be- ■au.se the candidates have not made much play for the offices they seek, or it may be that there is little or no competition. About all we can find out are from rumors and many of them are vague and incomplete. We have met a few o f the aspir ants for county offices but all of them are incumbent office holders and our meetings were not the result of their campaigning. It’s a different story with the can didates for state offices. The nta.l has been flooded with their bio graphies. especially those seeking election as delegates to both the na tional political conventions. Maybe things will get hot along about August.
