Pamela Clarey stayed with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Slippy, last week while her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Clarey, went on a camping trip. Merle Kygar was home from Haines for a few days last week, but returned to continue his work in the timber. Rudolph Hite left Friday for Haines to spend the Fourth with his daughter. Mrs. Oeorge Johnson. Mr. Hite took his grandchildren, Jimmy and Punky to their home after they had visited her for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Slippy and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Walters and their granddaughter, Brenda Walters, who Is here from Boise, were Thursday evening guests at a picnic on the lawn at the Byrd Walters home. House guests In the Chet Mills home for the holidays are Mrs. Mills’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arvld Ander son and sister. Pearl, of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, and her brother, Joyce Anderson of Denver. Mr. and Mrs. William McEwen and twin daughters, Ethelyn and Evelyn of Ontario and Mr. and Mrs. Byrd Walters were dinner guests In the Ellis Walters home Sunday. Sunday afternoon callers in the Ellis Walters home were Mrs. Rex Walters and her mother, Mrs. Eliz abeth Parsons of Boise, Mrs. Walt ers’ sister. Mrs. Myrtle Adcock, and children of Oakland, California and her brother, George Parsons. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Brewer at tended a camp meeting near Cald well Sunday and enjoyed a picnic with the group from the Wilder church. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raymond and sons left Saturday for Lostlne, where they will spend several days fishing. Mrs. M. Atagi Is In the Ontario hospital with rheumatic fever. She has been there for several days, but Is Improving now. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Brewer and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Eads and son of Wilder left Monday for Salem to attend a camp meeting. The group will spend the next 10 days fish ing and visiting various towns a- long the coast before returning. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Hawkins vis ited in Weiser Sunday at the home of their son. Rodney Hawkins. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Walton of Los Angeles are visiting relatives here and staying in the home of Mrs. Walton's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Hawkins. Fred Klingback entertained a group of boys on his lawn Sunday afternoon. The boys played croquet and later went swimming.
