KINGMAN KOLONY, May 13—The
Kingman Kolony Grange held its
| regular meeting at the Legion hall
l Monday evening. Harry Sandqulst,
county agent, spoke on gopher con­
trol and spraying for control of
white top weed. A program was ar­
ranged by Chaplain Erma Sparks in
observance o f Mother’s day. Mrs.
Ernest Weeks sang two solos, “Mo­
ther” and “ My Wild Irish Rose’,
Ardyce Hurst gave a reading “ My
First Ride In An Automobile”, and
Mrs. Hurst and Mrs. Piercy read
poems. Mrs. Hurst and Mrs. Krea-
ger served refreshments of cake
and coffee.
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Piercy and
Arlene and Ruben Graham spent

relatives in Buhl, Idaho.

Mrs. Ernest Weeks of Myrtle
Creek, Oregon arrived Friday for
a visit with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lynn Hurst.
Mr. and Mrs. William Toomb and
Betty Jean and Dickie and James
Phifer were Sunday dinner guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilson in
Ontario.
The Home Economics club met at
the home of Mrs. L. L. Kreager
Tuesday afternoon. After the busi­
ness meeting the afternoon was
spent in working on articles for
the bazaar. Mrs. Kreager served
refreshments.
Mrs. Wayne Piercy was ill with
influenza for three days the past
week and was unable to work at
Eder’s hardware store.
