Word was received here this week that Charlie Stewart and Paul Davis who are In army training, would soon leave for Panama Canal. Mrs. H. L. Brooks entertained with n shower honoring Mrs. Howard By bee, the new bride, at her home Thursday afternoon. Dish towels were embroidered for Mrs. Bybee and many useful gifts were received. Mrs. Shef White and Mrs. Gerald Ooodfellow helped Mrs. Brooks with the refreshments. Waud and family. Ronnie and Jackie Lisle went to Boise to spend the week end with their grandmother. John M. Mutter has rented the Baker place which has formerly been run by E. C. Johnson. Mutter is planning on moving on the place this week. Mr. and Mrs. Earle Farr and daughters Dorothy and Lorraine, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Forest Grammon of On tario. Mrs. Willard Steffen and two small sons, Norman and Richard ar rived Sunday from Nebraska to Join Mr. Steffen. They are living in the small cottage on the J. L. Waud farm.
