Plodgett, district attor ney, was notified of the death o f Jos eph Tipton of Cord, Oregon, resulting from a gunshot wound in the head. Coronar O. B. Payne was notified and the coronar, district attorney, sheriff and Annette Bb dgett went to the scene o f the shooting to hold an in. quest over the bidy, arriving at 10 o ’clock that evening A coroner’s jury was speedily secured and the evi dence taaan, the jury returning a e * -* * * -*♦♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ « » « — verdict that the deceased came to his death from a gunshot wound from a gun held in the hands of the d ci ased, and that no blame was attached to any other person.
