There were 15 entries of corn in the club booth. Five prizes only were given for corn and we played “ pig” by taking all five prizes. In placing the corn by the judges we won the first seven places. The boys winning were as follows: First, Ted Barrett o f Upper Big Bend; 2nd, Elmer Parker o f Lower Big Bend: 3rd, Bobby Barrett o f Upper Big Bend; 4th, Ira Biumbach of Lower. Big Bend; 5 th, Gerrett Muntzgewerff of Lower Big Bend. First prize, a trip to the Oregon Agricultural College and a member ship in the Boys’ and Girls’ Summer School, 1928, with all expenses paid for two weeks, provided by the Portland Implement and Tractor Association, hy II. M. Mercer, sec retary; 2nd prize, $5; 3rd prize, $4; 4th, $3; 5th, $2. In Division 1, Doris Lees of Bro gan won second prize o f $5.
