The February sales of 127.7 million board feet of tim ber to be cut over three years brings the total advertised sales for Fiscal Y ear 1974 (July through June) to $107 million In comparison, the greatest amount ever bid for tim ber from B LM managed lands in Oregon was $130.3 million in 1973, Herbert L. Haglund, chief of BLM Oregon state office’s branch of forestry, reported that BLM Oregon district sales in February were: Salem, 43 3 million board feet, $6,821.336; Eugene, 30.2 mbL $6,4.30,863; Roseburg, 13.5 m il lion mbf. $1,916,494; Coos Bay 17.8 m bf, $3,791,948; and Meford 22.9 mbf, $3.028,802.
