Mrs. Irene Kyser sooke on pros pects of a foot dinic, that may come to Vernonia in the near fu ture. Dorothy Churchill of Scappoose called to ask if there might be two Senior Citizens who might like to volunteer their service« in helping run a “Country Store" that is to open in Scappoose soon. Anyone interested may call the local cen ter at 429-3912 Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Snook re turned Sunday, from Pendleton, where they attended the Round Up. The next potluck and business meeting will be held October 6, 12:30 All Seniors are welcome to attend. Noble Dunlap in Grove Hospital NATAL - P IT T S B U R G — F lo y d Deeds of Salt Lake City, Utah arrived Friday evening at the air port in Portland and was met by his mother. Mrs Noble Dunlap and Mrs Ruth Steers. He is stayn g here a while as Mr. Dunlap is in the hospital at Forest Grove un dergoing tests. Mr and Mrs Bud Allbee of Oly mpia spent the weekend here visit ing her mother, Mrs. Mary Dass Mrs Allbee and her sister, Mrs Marion Grant, and children drove to Tillamook Saturday to the beach. Mr. and Mrs Claude Walker and Gertrude Hogan of Banks visited Mr. and Mrs. Max Oblack Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Craft of Stockton. California visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Oblack Wednesday. Mrs. Craft and Mrs Oblack are cousins. Richard Peterson visited Mrs Noble Dunlap and Floyd Deeds Sunday evening. Mrs Mildred Tupper and Sandra visited Noble Dunlap at the Forest Grove Hospital Saturday evening Vernonia Police Release Report The Vernonia Police Depart ment's report of activities, as read into record at Monday's council session by Police Commissioner Lucille Tomlin, gave the following data for the month of August. Traffic citations. 4: juvenile re ferrals. 7 complaints, 11 juveniles involved: family disputes, 6; dog complaints. 9; misdemeanors, 5; traffic warnings, 9; prowler calls 3; and miscellaneous calls, 12. Investigations: health hazards, 2; assistance was given to the public on 19 occasions, on six ambulance calls: and traffic control was pro vided on two fire calls. The report bore the signature of Acting Ponce Chief Lee Akers. Lincoln Starts Construction will begin soon on Central Park", a 63 townhouse condominium development near the heart of Beaverton, according to Donald W. Hirschberger, pre sident of lincoln Company, a sub sidiary of Lincoln Savings and Loan Association. The project is located near Bea verton High School between S.W.
