Release Report
The Vernonia Police Depart
ment's report of activities, as read
into record at Monday's council
session by Police Commissioner
Lucille Tomlin, gave the following
data for the month of August.
Traffic citations. 4: juvenile re
ferrals. 7 complaints, 11 juveniles
involved: family disputes, 6; dog
complaints. 9; misdemeanors, 5;
traffic warnings, 9; prowler calls
3; and miscellaneous calls, 12.
Investigations: health hazards, 2;
assistance was given to the public
on 19 occasions, on six ambulance
calls: and traffic control was pro
vided on two fire calls.
The report bore the signature of
Acting Ponce Chief Lee Akers.
Lincoln Starts
Construction will begin soon on
Central Park", a 63 townhouse
condominium development near
the heart of Beaverton, according
to Donald W. Hirschberger, pre
sident of lincoln Company, a sub
sidiary of Lincoln Savings and
Loan Association.

verton High School between S.W.
Main Street and Erickson Avenue
