TOWN TOPICS OBITUARY Mrs Blanche Lundgren, 73, who made her home on Timber Route for twenty eight years before inov ing to Vernonia four years ago, died January 3rd at the Forrot Grove Community Hospital follow ing an illness of the paat several years Funeral services for Mrs Ixmd gren were held at the Pulton Mort uary Chapel, Vernonia with the Rev. John Owens and Elder Leo Bellville, present and former pas tors of the Baotlst Church in Ver nonia officiating. Concluding rites and interment were at the Vemo nia Memorial Cemetery with Rill Hom. Paul Weidman, Albert Tandy Ray Gaffney, Ixirry Gam er and John Steele serving as pall bear ers. Mrs Lundgren was bom at Weis sert. Nebraska on November 12, 1898, the daughter of Ansel R juxi Phoebe Manning ‘ Hjnkley. She spent her early life and received her education at Lincoln, Omaha and St Paul, Nebraska and then was united in marriage to Fred O. Lundgren at Fremont. Nebraska on May 13, 1926 They lived their early married years at Ontahu and in Illinois and then moved to New Mexico for almost ten years In the early 1940’s they cam e to this area and lived on their farm home on Timber route, moving thence to their present home in Vernonia. Surviving in addition to her hus band is a son. Fred Lundgren. Jr.; Glynro, Georgia two grandchildren. Randy Lundgren. Great Lakes. Il linois and Carol Lundgren, Clynco. and a sister, Mrs Lulu White.
