U.S. Downfall Is Plotted (This article of timely signi ficance that came across t h e editorial deck should be ponder ed by every American) Just a Coincidence? In M ay of 1919 at Düsseldorf. Germany, the Allied Forces ob tained a copy of the “ Commun ist Rules for Revolution.” Near ly fifty years later, the Reds are still “ following the rule.” As you read the list, stop after each item and think about the present day situation and where you live, and all around t h e nation. We quote from the Red Rules: A. Corrupt the young, g e t them away from religion. Get them interested in sex. M a k e them superficial; destroy their ruggedness. B. Get control of all means of publicity thereby: 1. Get people’s minds o f t their government by focusing their attention on athletics, sexy books and plays and other tri vialities. 2. Divide the people into hos tile groups by constantly harp ing on controversial matters of no importance. 3. Destroy the people’s faith in their natural leaders by hold ing the latter up to contempt, ridicule and obloquy. 4. Always preach true demo cracy, but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible. 5. By encouraging govern ment extravagance, destroy its credit, produce fear of inflation with rising prices and general discontent. 6. Foment unnecessary strikes in vital industries, encourage civil disorders and foster a len ient and soft attitude on t h e part of government toward such disorders. 7. By s p a c i,Q ji s argument cause the breakdown of the old moral virtues, honesty, sobriety, continued faith in the pledged word, ruggedness. C . Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext, with a view of confiscating them and leaving the popula tion helpless. Oernonia Bagte THURSDAY, M AY 21, 1970 That was quite a list, wasn't it? Now stop and think, how many of those rules are being carried out in this nation today? I don’t see how any thinking person can truthfully say that the Communists do not have any part in the chaos that is up setting our nation. Or is it just one big coincidence? I doubt it. Pick up your tame telephone and order a wild one. Call up somebody about fixing the backyard fence on one of these phones and you’ll feel like you’re ordering more swans for the moat. You can have any one of them for a $5.00 premium charge plus $1.50 to $2 a month depending on which one you pick. (That’s in addition to the regular installation 7 charges and monthly rates for your phone.) Call your General Telephone business office to order one. I t’s bound to be a conversation piece. General Telephone 1. Grecian cameo cradlephone. 2. Chestphone. 3. Antique white cradlephone. 4. Mediterranean cradlephone. z . i
