Oregon BIRKENFELD — Mary Ann Nordstrom left for Salem this w'-ek. She won first prize at the Clatsop county fair on her garden exhibit so is exhibiting at the state fair. Wayne Larson took his 4-H calf to the state faid. He won at Jh. Columbia county fair. Ronnie Nordstrom returned from Seattle the first of last week where he had been visiting rela tives. Mrs. Everett Johnston went to Yakima this week. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Elliott made a business trip to Hebo and into Portland Wednesday. They re turned horn. Thursday.
