Rose were Mr. and Mrs. Mance Rose ana twin sons of Eugene and Mr. and Mrs. Derrel Rose and children of Springfield. Thev all return d to their homes Monday except Mrs. Derrel Rose and children who will spend the weik here. Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Lytle 01 Portland spent the week tnd at the home of Mr. and Mis. T. F. HUlyer. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Callister, son Ronnie and Mrs. Clara Hill attended the annual Palm family • re-union at Eugene Sunday. They visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Blosser at Lorrane Sunday night and returned horn? Monday evening. Barbara Owen is nursing Mrs. William Hard r at her homt on Capitol hill. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hawkins and boys, Bert Hawkins and Mrs. Grace Currie visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hay.s at Gaston Sunday. Week end visitors at the Artie Buckner homes w.re Mr. and Mrs. Walter Buckner of California, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bond of For st Grove and Mr. and Mi% Ray Buckner of Hillsboro. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Beverly, attended the B.ck family re-union 1 at Springwater, near Estacada, where 93 members of the family gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ev.rett Shibley^ Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alvery Trotter and Alvin and Doris from Sweet Home visited over Labor Day with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Dowling. The Garlocks have had as their guest, Mrs. Mabel King from Portland, the past week. Mrs. Joe Roeser entertained the Young People’s club one ev.mng last week. Mrs. Ray Gar'ock and Mrs. Mary Garlock drove to Portland Sunday, taking Mrs. King home. Bud Wilson is working for the state highway at Clatskanie. The Tommy Dyer family is living on the Si genthaler farm. Willard Garlock moved to West port. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Peterson and baby of Seattle were w.ek end visitors at his folks. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Pet rson. | I | I Waddell attended the square dance jamboree at Staside Sun day. The Waddell brothers enjoyed the races at Deer Island Sunday. Friday visitors at the Ira Peter son home were Mae Krieger of Vernonia and her daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Spofford of Alaska. Sunday visitors at th Pringle home were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Vann of Portland. Mr and Mrs. Pete Zillman called at the Kyser home Satur day. Sunday afternoon callers at the Devine home were Mr. and Mrs. S Swanson of Clatskani . Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Olstedt of Elsie were at the Pringle home Saturday They came to attend the wedding of her sister, Patricia Hilld brand, and Raymond East whose wedding was held in a church in Vernonia. 1 family gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. They were members of the Paison family, now living in Portland. Sewing club met with Pat Lar son last Tuesday evening. Nine members and one visitor were present. Next meeting will be with Jean Stuve. Mrs. Don J.nsen, Gary and Cheryl, went to Tigard Friday. The M.
