THE EAGLE, VERNONIA, ORE. THURSDAY. FEB 19, People Gather i Children Seen During Logger Set Free i Special Speaker , Young For Valentine Party Visit Over Week End BY GEO. N. TAYLOR The young people of high school RIVERVIEW — Mr and Mrs. Revival Series Being Conducted Slated Sunday Portland. Oregon age from the Evangelical U.B. and J. E Rose, son Bobby and grand —“I could quit drink any time but the smokes had me. If I got saved as the Christian loggers in the camp urged, how could I quit smokes’” So the fellow told it and at last he said he received Christ as his Lord and Saviour who died for his sins and God then cleaned him up. The urge for smokes and drink were both clean gone. The man re ceived Christ as God th ? Saviour whose blood shed at the crucifiction, blotted out his every sin. Having died for the fel low’s sins—and ours also—Christ proved that He was of the God head by rising from death and the grave. And Resurrection Day, by that same God-power, He is to raise you who are His. Then with sins blotted out a body of glory, you will be fit for heaven— ‘ Christ in you; the hope of glory."
