Three Spend Week End In Washington City Alder Grove Party Enjoyed NATAL — DeVere Hershey and Wayne Wilkens were visit ing friends in Vernonia Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Waddell and Ernest Kyser and Ethel en joyed the party at Alder Grove Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Max Oblack were in Longview last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Noble Dunlap were Clatskanie visitors last Saturday. Mrs. Sam Devine went to Hills boro Sunday to be with her mother who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Max Oblack and Larry motored to Forest Grove Tuesday. NV's- Bill Thornton, Shirley and Johnnie and little Jimmie Fit- chit were Sunday callers at the Clair Devines. RIVERVIEW — Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Smith and daughter of Portland visited with her mother, Mrs. Glen Mitchell. Lester Blount and Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Robertson spent tne week end at Yakima, Washing ton. Darrel Rose is home on a vacation from Los Angeles where he attends school. He and his wife are spending the holidays at the home Of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Rose. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wallace of Birkenfeld are the parents of a boy who arrived December 14. He weighs seven pounds 6 ounces and is named Michael Dean.
