Hear Midget’s answer — “But grandfather it couldn't hurt me for I belong to Jesus and He is everywhere and He will have me with Him.” Away back in His days here on earth, Jesus saw the little ones turn to Him as being strong and wise and loving. And said He— Except you turn and become as little children, you shall in no way enter the Kingdom of Hea ven.”—BIBLE, Matthew 18:3. TURN AND TRUST—So Jesus bids us turn and trust in Him. Stand on it that Christ the Son died for all your sins and God gives you eternal life with him self. From then on all your life—sunshine or showers—look ut terly to Christ to power you.— Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved—Acts 13: 31. WOODS FULL OF HUNTERS —Rev. Paul D. Sisler The woods are literally and figuratively full of hunters these days. Red hats, blazing guns, deer-draped jalopies, and venison steaks symbolize the one kind of hunting. Schools, churches, theatres, auto-filled highways, taverns, night clubs, athletic stadiums, and many other things tell the figurative story. We are all hunters. We’re trying to bag the life that fully satisfies. It’s rather costly business, too. Not many come out of the woods with that which really satisfies the soul. There are many confusing claims being made about how to identify the game that’s really worth while going after, and how to go about tracking it to its lair. The Master Hunter tells us that he came “that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” It’s a stiff course, this “Life Hunt ing,” but you get the limit without fail if you sincerely fodow-every step of the instruc tions. How about it, fellow hunters? Will you enroll in the class that assuies you true life happiness and satisfaction or will you gamble with the glittering, empty claims of the shortcutters and go meatless this coming season? Another fea ture of interest is the display dur ing the Sunday school and morn ing worship hours of fruits and vegetables gathered from the gar dens and farms of the community. Begun during the pastorate of the late Rev. G. W. Plumer, this occasion has come to be a cherish ed tradition in the life of the church and the entire community.
