Parker were married Saturday morning, June 14, in Vancouver, Washington, by Reverend Paul L. Kunzman. Mrs. James Wyatt (Eve Last Saturday we drove to Kla math Falls to visit my brother, Roma Howell, whom I had not seen for five years. With him we drove to Crater Lake on Sunday. Nothing was open in the park except the post office, the Ranger information bureau and one eating place be cause the snow was fifteen and twenty feet high in places. The road was clear so we could get a good view of the beautiful lake. We saw a number of bears in the wilds and took several pictures of them. On Monday we visited the great lava caves forty miles from Kla math Falls; on our way back as we crossed the mountain, we had a grand view of Mt. Shasta in California. We don’t know how good the pictures we took of the mountain will be as it was said to be 90 miles away. Trip Planned We are planning next week a trip to the head of Graves’ creek where there have been millions of dollars of gold mined. So if I don’t bring home a nugget it won’t be because I haven’t tried. In about ten days, we expect to leave for the coast where Mrs. Zuber, my cousin, will visit another cousin whom she had never seen until she arrived in Oregon. It was only by chance mention being made by E. E. Mills of Waldport of a Mrs. Gunderson in Yachats that brought the meeting about. Mrs. Zuber wondered if the lady were a relative of hers. Upon driving to the Gunderson Cottages, the ladies, Mrs. Zuber and Mrs. Gun derson, discovered they are cous ins, their mothers being sisters. Mrs. B. J.
