Miss Roach is not only a talented artist, but just a natural bom comedian brim full of jollity and wholesome good nature that is in fectious to the superlative degree. She excels in her nationalistic charac ter skits, and being Irish herself, can handle the brogue of old Erin in most realistic and inimitable style. Her readings are also marked favor ites of her program. In fact, every- offering of this artist “goes over big” and audiesces cannot get enough of her. The total absence of anything bordering on buffonery in the humor of Miss Roach makes her art em phatically as of high standard. She can keep her audiences is a perfect uproar of mirth and laughter with out a suggestion of ridicule or of ■ fense to the nationalities she imi ■ tates so perfectly.
