The survey is from the canyon of the Wilson riv-r, in sec. 23, tp. 1 south, rang*- 9 west, on the sou’h side ot the river, and goes through sections 22, 21 and 20, and then turns north and crosses the corner ot section 19, tp. 1 south, range 10 west, going through Peter Wilson’s place, from here it makes a bee line to Bay Citv and ends at what is known as Cone & McCoy’s addition. )t is within two miles east ol Tillamoos City where the line turns and goes north. at D. In 1852 Mr. and Mrs. Fletchall crossed the plains with ox teams. They settled in Eugene, where they reaided for 30 years. The remainder of their lives was spent in TilUmook, Washington and Yamhill counties. Of (heir 11 children, four are living. The deceased has been a member of the Baptist church for 30 years. The funeral occurred Monday, Oct. 1, 1906, at the Pike church and interment was made in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery, services conducted by Rev. \V E. Me.
