I have heard some people say that none of the merchants had their ’Xmas stock all in yet. I wish to correct that by stating that I have had all of mine in the store for the last two months. A visit to my store will prove that, from the display I am showing. I There is hardly a person who has Christmas gifts to buy who should not consider the selection of books, Books are equally desirable for young and old. They are treasured for a lifetime and never lose their value. Large as our stock was last year, it is almost doubled this season. The variety is greater and the stock throughout is larger. It in cludes all the latest and most popular novels, together with standard fiction, poeiry, etc. Also books for girls, books for boys and books for the little people. You can find anything you want, and can be suited, no matter what price you want to pay. I do wish you would give us the pleas ure of a call and look over this collec tion of books, you will find it a wonder, and an education, and you may see some thing you will want later on. My collection of sea shells is large and varied, ranging in price from 5c. to 60c. no higher. I have often had people say that they thought some of my shells would be worth $2 or $3. The souve- nier shell spoons are the neatest thing out for mailing as they are light and strong. A great many of the shells are hand painted, making them very beauti ful aud attractive.
