Amusement. 70 THE EDITOR OF TILLAMOOK HEADLIGHT Amusement is one of features of life. The babe in the cradle cries for amuse ment, it wants to be diverted, its reali zation is limited, so we give it a rattle box, or trinket of some kind or other, but when he grows older he wants some, thing of more significance. Every decade of life seems to have some amusement appropriate, the small boy has his pockets full of marbles, or he has his kite or other playthings that suit his | stage of life. As we grow to manhood I amusements seem to be divided, they are , either elevating, or degrading, and much depends on our future life which we choose. We know a man by his amuse ments as well as by his occupation. , Oils, Paint, Varnish, Doors. Window which has an influence over his amuse- j Sashes, ments, for the man who works indoors all the week, wants to get out in the open air, the one who lives in the city wants to go into the country, or sea shore, while the one who lives in the \ country goes to the city, whatever we - do as a task has no sensation of amuse * ment, to row a boat is amusing, but if we have to, it is the hardest kind of Agents for the Great Western Saw work. The particular class of men that I am interested in, are those who believe 1 in the crucified Saviour, who trust their eternity absolutely with him, without The Most Reliable Merchants in Tillamook County any reserve, who do nothing, either by commission or omission, ^any more than 4 I; there was no future.
