I’ennoyer, 1500 majority for mayor in Portland. The Oregonian’s , O. Solis Cohen, is the ’hind matt. Tillamook county is all republican except oil clerk anil school superintendent. Following are the successful ones and their majorities: C. H. Wheeler, commissioner 212. J, D. Edwards, clerk, 5. J. II. Jackson, sheriff, 351. John Barker, treasurer, 186. A. M. Austin, surveyor, 246. J. Stephens, assessor, 257. G. A. Walker, school superintendent, 216. U. E. Reynolds, coroner, 135. G. W. Suppinton, J. P., 135. 8. V. Andeisou, constable, 111. 1134 votes were cast. Tongue carried Washington county by only 37 votes. Sam Hughes is elected senator in Washington, The republicans elect of the legislature 56, the democrats 6, pop. ulist 12, Union bimetallic 3, Mitchell republicans 3.
