Council unanimously ap- proved a revised Greenville Park Management Agreement with Arbor Village Homeowners Association, and authorized the Mayor to sign on behalf of the City of Banks. Greenville City Park was donated to the City of Banks when the Arbor Village Subdivision was plat- ted, with the proviso that the Arbor Village Home Owners Association (AVHOA) would maintain and operate the park under the Park Management Agreement. On January 10, 2005, the original Park Man- agement Agreement was su- perseded by an additional agreement. Through mediation between the city and the AVHOA an addendum to the Park Management Agreement has been drafted providing de- tailed procedures for the opera- tion and maintenance of Greenville City Park. Council fails to pass Res. 12-12 From page 4 lar vehicle traffic on a section of road that is not wide enough for a two-lane road. Resolution 12-12, offering the city’s support of the Human Health - Forest Health Initiative being implemented by the Pin- chot Institute, was considered by council but failed to gain a quorum when Councilor Bruce McNair voted against the reso- lution. In other business, council: • gave consensus for the mayor to appoint Janelle Ced- ergreen to the Library Board. The next regular city council meeting will be held on May 7, starting at 7:00 p.m. at city hall. This, of course, is not illegal but I fail to understand why out of town investors and Mr. Fisher would make this investment. I also found that Tony Hyde bought himself over $600 worth of new tires and a computer from his campaign funds, mon- ey in part contributed by a real estate broker in California, a business entity from Washing- ton, D.C., and CalPortland, “a major building materials and construction solutions pro- vider”. Perhaps he is consider- ing higher aspirations in Salem, Washington D.C. or Orlando. We need open, honest and transparent government. We need commissioners whose loyalty lies with their con- stituents and not with their per- sonal agenda. It is most defi- nitely time for a change. I strongly urge you to vote for Brady Preheim for position 1 and Tammy Maygra for position 3. It is time for a change.
