Aug. 3 – Charles Coon, 47, Ver- nonia, taken into custody on Civil Detox Hold at Maple & Adams; tak- en to CCSO jail. – John Uerling, 21, Birkenfeld, taken into custody on Civil Detox Hold at Maple & Adams; taken to CCSO jail. – Assisted CCSO with a double fatal MVA by Vernonia Golf Course. Aug. 4 – Criminal Mischief at NAPA; someone tipped over a Coke machine. – Possible Child Neglect at An- derson Park; unfounded. – Female subject put on Police Officer Hold on Alder St. – Desmond Hines, 33, Forest Grove, taken into custody on Civil Detox Hold; released to responsi- ble party. Aug. 5 – Criminal Mischief at Bridge & Jefferson after someone removed and damaged several of the Vernonia Walking Tour signs. Sheriff’s Aug. 14 – Jared Skirving, 19, Banks, arrested for Burglary II and Theft I after items taken from a house under construction on NW Roads End Rd were found in his possession after being listed on Craigslist.
