CENT Vernonia Justice Court June 5 – Columbia Enforce- ment Narcotics Team (CENT) raid- ed a Vernonia residence on Arkansas Ave. Jason Michael Root, 27; Danielle Leigh Long, 30; Kyle James Nelson, 32; and Stephanie Ann Long, 28, all of Ver- nonia, were arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Because of the drugs (user amounts of methamphetamine were also found), plus loaded firearms found at the residence, eight children were removed from the home. Christopher S. Beard, no age given, Portland, pleaded guilty to Criminal Trespass II; 1 yr proba- tion, 8 days jail, credit for time served; $420 FF&A. Vernonia Police Department Notice: Arrests and citations do not indicate guilt. All persons are presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law. June 6 – Jordan Harrison, 20, Vernonia, cited for DWS near Bridge St. & Washington Ave. June 8 – Bicycle found in creek by Anderson Park. June 9 – Juvenile referred to Juvenile Dept. for Theft after taking a bicycle from near Sentry; bicycle returned to owner. June 10 – Hold placed on male on Riverside Dr.; taken to hospital. June 11 – Took Missing/Endan- gered person report on Brandy McKernan, 25, Vernonia, who has been missing for three weeks. June 16 – Blu Garrymore, 19, Vernonia, arrested on FTA warrant from Vernonia Justice Court; taken to CCSO jail.
