By Nate Underwood Principal, 4-8 Grades On Tuesday, April 6, the Lincoln and Washington pri- mary students enjoyed an entertaining performance by the USA Yoyo Extravaganza. While dazzling the crowd with his amazing ability, Charley Lowery presented a positive message to our young people: — Never Give Up — Encourage Others — Do Your Best This simple, yet effective message, will work wonders if fol- lowed and supported at home. Many students have caught the yoyo bug themselves, as Charley left some for purchase. Yoyos were on sale for a week following the assembly with 10 percent of proceeds going back to the schools. Congratulations to Mackenzie Carr. Mackenzie, an 8th grader at Washington Grade School, received a special award for pass- ing all areas of her 10th grade Math CIM. Great job!
