Serving as best man was the groom’s brother, Steve Mc Gaugh of Fresno, Calif. The bride’s attendant was a niece, Melody Lignell of St. Helens. Read this column and/or come in for dates. There was a lot of steppin’ on toes around here October 24...for foot care day, that is. Our foot care has been a very successful event. Call our of fice to sign up. Slots fill fast. $15 a visit. The next foot clinic will be December 19th. Also, call our office for a Community Action Team Direc tory, to see if you qualify for en ergy assistance, or to sign up for our Beginning Sign Lan guage class on Mondays 10:30 -1 1 :30 a.m., starting Nov. 3. We do have transportation services here from the Cetner. Call 429-4304 for that informa tion. November is National Care givers Month. If you are an un paid caregiver, stop by the Se nior Center for a special recog nition treat. YOU DESERVE IT!! Also, see if you qualify for some respite care for yourself. If you haven’t tried our great lunches here at the center, come and join us Mondays through Fridays, for ages 60 and up on a donation basis only. Or, if you are homebound or know of someone who is, we also deliver Meals-on-Wheels to the local area. The Center will be closed November 11 in honor of Veter an Day; also on November 27 and 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Come in and sign up for the Thanksgiving dinner to be held November 19 at 12:00 noon. Now is time to reserve space for annual Booster Christmas bazaar The Booster Club Holiday Bazaar is coming!! The dates of the bazaar this year are De cember 6, 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and December 7, 12:00-5:00 p.m. The Vernonia Booster Club would like to invite all fellow crafters to participate in the 25th annual Vernonia “Christ mas in the Country” Bazaar.
