When the rains fall and the sun is setting much sooner, the importance of properly working headlights is increased. Make sure all car lights work and work as they were designed. If you have lifted your truck, make sure the headlights are adjusted to m eet original specifications. Headlights should not be aimed into the on-coming lane of traffic or too far down the road. This can cause other drivers to have wrecks. Before you lift the truck chassis you should note where the headlights hit on the ground in front and then adjust them to match that after the lift. If you have already lifted your truck, you can get the specifications from a dealer. Having m aladjust ed headlights violates section 811.515 of the m otor vehicle code. Have a safe fall.
