R ecitation o f the rosary and a m em orial m ass were held Septem ber 30 in St. Agatha Catholic Church in Portland. Mrs. Shaw was born March 6, 1907, in Banks. Her m aiden name w as Van- derZanden. She grew up in Roy and P ortland and gra du ated from G irls Polytechnic High School. In 1938, she married Benjam in F. Shaw. They owned and operated B.F. Shaw Garden Grocery in Portland. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1957. She graduated from Hillsboro High School and earned her bachelor of arts and m aster of arts degrees in education from Pacific U niversity in Forest Grove. In 1948, she married Ernest Liver more. She was a school teacher for 40 years in middle and high schools in Stevenson, W ash., Vernonia, Forest Grove, Langloise and Beaverton. She was a m em ber of the Oregon Education Association. Mrs. Liverm ore was preceded in death by her husband.
