All projects must ad vance social justice in Colum bia County and support CC- CH D ’s mission statem ents, which is to work to assure basic civil rights and human dignity for all. Funds for the grants were raised from the Kaleidoscope Winter Gala in January. CC CHD decided to return some of these funds to the community in the form of local grants. The first round of grants will be awarded in January, 2003, although more grants will be awarded throughout the year, if funds are available. The deadline for application is November 1.
