English 105, Introduction to Literature (Dram a), will be taught in Vernonia from Janu ary 8 to March 19, 2002. The three-credit class is designed to teach enhanced enjoyment of plays as literature, increase understanding of the conven tions of drama and the theater, and encourage exploration of human experience. Early registration for PCC classes is encouraged because classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. To register, use the form in the schedule that was mailed to homes early in November, call 503-977- 5000 to register by phone, or Prerequisite: Placement into WR 121 (Testing is offered in St. Helens or at any PCC cam pus.) Lorraine Andresen will teach the class at Vernonia High School, in Room 6, on Tues days from 6:30 - 9:20 p.m. Tuition/fees are $130.50, plus textbook costs. Free GED instruction is also available in Vernonia with both daytime and evening classes.
