Longview stage will sizzle with Lavay Smith and Red Hot m usic Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers will perform at the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts in Longview, June 22 at 7:30 p.m. Smith, a sultry songstress who recalls the talents of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Dinah Washington, and her “Skillet Lickers" are truly all- star performers. When not on the road, Smith and her band are showcased every Friday at the Cafe du Nord, San Francisco’s hippest nightclub.
