This training focuses on parenting children w ho are betweeen one- and four-years old. The course will present information about discipline methods, pre venting tantrums, building lov ing bonds with your child and other relevant topics. The class will be lead by Gina Dixon, who has 10 years of parenting experience, a de gree in social work and working going recruitment for low -in com e fam ilies with children aged three to five. Dukes will chair Coastal Caucus S enator Joan Dukes w ill serve as chair of the Coastal Caucus for the 2001 Oregon Legislative Session. Senator Dukes, a member of the Oregon State Senate since 1987, said, “There is strength in numbers and I am proud to join the eight Oregon House and Senate members in fighting for issues of im por tance to coastal Oregonians. “Our goal is to make certain that issues of importance to the Oregon Coast are advanced by the legislature and to explain the unique problems that the area experiences.” To allow further input by all interested parties, the joint Coastal Caucus has delayed enactment of a proposed rule on sanitary conditions of fish fil leting on boats and dockside, according to Dukes.
