The negoti ated sales price for the unused school is $405,000. Negotiations for the sale of the property have taken sever al months, but it appears to benefit both organizations. Banks School District is in the middle of a four-year debt re payment program caused by a variety of miscalculations over several years and the $75,000 down payment would ease much of the financial pressure. Banks Christian Academy will be able to move from their current facility on N. Main Street and have room to ex pand their program.
