Nehalem Valley Pioneer meet will emphasize schools in the area From page 7 The Nehalem Valley Pioneer Association will hold its 77th annual Pioneer Meeting and Potluck Picnic at the Natal Grange Hall on Sunday, June 11, at 11:00 a.m. This year’s special event is a G athering of C lassm ates from every school that ever held classes in the Upper Ne halem Valley between Braun and T-shirts related to the quilt. Another ASPCC-sponsored event headlining in April is Eng lish as a Second Language (ESL) Awareness Week, start ing Monday, April 24. The fea tured event of the week will be on April 24 when PCC students in the college’s ESL class will unveil a mural project they have been working on with An gelina Marino, a local mural artist.
