The republican state and coun ty conventions have not been called yet, but we hear they will probably come off in April. The election in Oregon in June will be tlie first state election this year, and being thus at the head of the column, it ought to carry, as a good example to the states which follow, tiie good flag of republi can progression and prosperity. And it undoubtedly will. The prosperity which tiie country lias enjoyed under the present republican ride will be continued, and no one can reasonably be so blinded to the true interests of the country or his own interests as to wish otherwise. Under tiie present administration this country is moving forward with giant strides towards greatness, and there is no nation that is more respected and honored or is entitled to feel prouder than this. yrOTICE HEREBY GIVEN, that by vrme of a warrant to mo directed, issued out of tiie C. unty Court of tiie State of Oregon, for Klam ath County, commanding me to collect tiie delinquent taxes, a« shown u|xui tiie lX'liiiqnent Tux Roils now in my possession, which warrant is now in m; hands, and is in words and figures as follows: STATE OF OREGON, ) J.
