It Billy McMackin of Trail City, S. D, who performed here last year and took pay money on several occasions. Visitors Mrs. Jean Branson. accompanied by her son, Phillip, and daughter, Sharon Sue, spent Thursday in Klamath Falls. The Bransons live at Hart Mountain national monument where Bran son serves as superintendent of the antelope refuge. They re turned to their borne after visit ing here with Hazel Morrison. Recovers Leigh Ackerman, police iudge, was able to return to his desk Thursday following a severe cold. Ackerman was un able to leave Thursday for Eu gene where citr officials are at tending the League of Oregon Cities session. To Eia Mayor John Houston, Councilman Walter Wiesendanger, R. H. Bussman, Bollin Can trail and Harvey Martin, left early Thursday morning by motor for Eugene to attend the League of Oregon Cities convention. Hay of Lake- view was in Klamath Falls Thursday to attend to circuit court business here on cases to which he has been assigned by the supreme court. OBITUARY FLORENCE JU ANITA DAVIS Florence Juanita Davis, a resi dent of Klamath Falls, Ore, for the past 11 years, passed away in this city on Wednesday, March 19, at 3:50 p. m. The de ceased was a native of Mouqui qua. 111, and was aged 30 years S months and 24 days when called. She is survived by her husband, Cecil; three sons, Cecil W, Everett and Robert, one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Herrick; two grandchildren, Beverly Dawn and Shirley Ann Herrick, all of Klamath Falls: five sisters, Irene Pflaging of Littleton.
