City Engineer Was "About to Resign" Office August 24th Indictment Wiil Be Sought in Gene Henry Case At Next Examiners' Meeting News) Officials of the state board of engineering examiners are watch ing developments closely tn the city engineering situation at Klamath Fails, it was satd authoritatively here today. According to records of the board,' Eugene B. Henry, Klamath Fails, city engineer, failed to pass an en gineering examasatian given by the board, sod a license was accordingly denied him. It is an Indictable misdemeanor io practice engineering without a license, and members of the board are of the opinion that Henry's ac tivities would be construed as "practicing." The hoard was informed at its iast meeting, September II, by A. B. Carter, secretary, he was advised August 24 that Henry was about to resign.
