Ranch, Adel. after their recent wed ding in Carson City. The new Mrs. Kittredge is the former Celeste Danused Rodda, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Danuscd. Alturas. Mrs. Kittredge is a 1956 grad uate of the Dixon High School, attended Sacramento Junior College and Reno Business Col lege. Before her marriage she was employed as a legal secre tary in Lakcview. Patrick Kittredge is the son nf Mrs. Josephine Kittredge of Eugene and Oscar Kittredge of Lakcview. He attended Stanford University and the University of Oregon where he was affili ated with Phi Kappa Psi fra ternity. A post wedding reception was held for the newlyweds at the Adel Community Hall Saturday evening. Nov. 16. Attending the reception from Alturas were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Danu.ser and son. Chris, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence York. LISTS KOOT n.LS CHICAGO UPI)-The average American walks about 65,000 miles in a lifetime, the American Podiatry Association reports. But 80 per cent of Americans have suffered or are suffering from some sort of foot ailment, according to the foot experts. More than 85 per cent of senior citizens are afflicted, 40 per cent of school children by age six, and more than 70 per cent by high school age. The nation's foot doctors claim that not all foot ailments are caused by corns and calluses. Other causes include weak arches hammer toes, ulcers, imbalance, heel spurs, skin diseases, frac tures and tumors. Mollenkopf OVER THE GARDEN GATE STATE LINE GARDEN CLUB NEW PINE CREEK - The State Line Garden Club met at the Grange Hall Nov. 13 with 16 members present to receive instructions on how to make attractive wreaths for center pieces and for Christmas decor. Ruth Clark, president, was in charge of the meeting. Three visitors were Elna Fol lett and Rose Barry of Lake view and Mrs. Edyth Minto, Eagleville. The latter told in teresting stories of what her club is doing and made sug gestions fcr various projects that a new club could under take. Mrs. Minto has been ac tive in garden club work in Surprise Valley for a number of years.
