Players Club The Players Club met Sept. 6 for its annual chicken dinner served by the Women of the Moose at the Moose Hall. Bridge and pinochle Mere played during the evening. Club Plans Decor Sale ALTURAS The annual holi day sale of fall and Christmas decorations sponsored by the Alturas Garden Club will be held Thursday. Nov. 21, at Ue Whistlestop clubhouse in Alturas. The annual sale of holiday decorations made by members of die club has become so pop ular in Alturas that last year the club members initiated the hobo lunch which is served from 11:30 until late afternoon for the holiday buyers. The cost of the sack lunch is one dollar. Along with the Christmas deco rations, the club offers a cake and candy sale of homemade treats.
