PAGE-SB HE BALD AND NEWS. Klamath Falls, Oregon f Friday, October 21, IMS Have Kids Avoid 'Nutty' Neighbor By ANN LANDKRS Dear Ann Landers: What can we do about a woman in our neighborhood who doesn't have all her mar bles? There are several fami lies on this street and we ail have young children. Na turally, chil dren fight. This mother is forever rushing out of her house and becoming involved in the battles of her four and five-year-olds. She hits the youngster, sometimes in the face and on the head with a rolled up magazine, a mixing spoon or whatever she happens to be holding in her hands at the moment. Yesterday I just happened to be looking out the window and I saw her take a swipe at my three-year-old. I immediately went over and asked her what she thought she was doing. She replied, "Your child took my Harvey's bottle of ants." Please don't suggest that I reason with her because it is im possible to reason with a nut. Please suggest something work-able.-END OF MY HOPE Dear Rone: Instruct your chil dren to stay out of the woman's yard. If she puts a foot on your property either to referee or to take over for her kids tell her she Is trespassing and it is against the law. Dear Ann Landers: Last Sun day I was invited to have sup per In a restaurant with my boy friend and his parents. I am not quite 13, and I am a boy, too, so don't Jump on my head for dating so young. I was embarrassed when they asked me to order first because I didn't know how much money they wanted to spend on me. I looked at the prices and everything seemed pretty high. I didn't know whclher to order a whole dinner or a sandwich or what. Really, it was horrible. I stumbled around (or a long time and then said 1 would have a peanut-butter and jelly sand wich because it was all I could think of. Everyone else or dered a whole dinner and I felt like a fool. Please tell me what to do next time. Maybe the next family I eat with won't be able to afford whole dinners for everybody. RED FACE Dear Red: Your best bet Is to say you can't decide what you want and ask the others to please go ahead and order so you can get an idea. Then order something similar. Dear Ann Landers: I've been going steady with this fellow for seven months. He is 25 and I am 24. He is very sweet to me but there's something fishy about this guy. He has dinner at our house at least twice a week. My folks like him a lot and have offered him the guest room when the weather has been bad and his car was in the shop. (He lives on the other side of town.) In all the time we've been going together lie has never sug gested that I meet his folks. He has told me about his mother and father and sister and they sound like fine people. I have seen his home (from the outside) and it is beautiful. He can't possibly be ashamed of it. Don't you think seven months of chit-chat is enough? He wants to be serious but I don't want to get involved with a fel low who is afraid or ashamed to introduce me to his family. What do you say? HAD ENUF Dear Enuf: You bet there Is something fishy about this guy. No girl should tie herself up for seven months just for the hall- FULL OP $AWJG$ DENNIS THE MENACE lVHy W301D AKVBOCy BE 0UM6 WOUSU 10 WW ArWA PtRflCf e0OD C16AR BOX? but. A girl who has eyes for your brother, your boss and the delivery man doesn't sound like very prom ising marriage material. 15 FOR A FINE SUIT?
