Kerr of the New Idaho District, Lake view, were married in a double wedding ceremony at the First Methodist Church in Lakeview at eight o'clock Saturday eve ning, Sept. 28. Joy Ruth Kerr became the bride of Patrick Joseph Schuler of Ukiah, Calif., son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred G. Schuler, Vernon District, Lakeview. Judy Dianne Kerr became the bride of Rob ert Terry Blair, son of Mrs. William Honnold of Mcdford, and Earl Blair of Oroville, Calif, The Rev. Henry B. Wong, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, officiated at the single ring rites. Mrs. Freda Evans played the wedding music and James E. Simmons was the 60 loist. Baskets of white fugi chrysanthemums lied with tur quoise ribbon were used for decorations. Joy's floor length gown of heavy taffeta had a scooped neckline, empire waistline and long sleeves pointed at the wrist. The full skirt, decorated at the waistline in the back with a large bow, descended to a slight train. A floral head piece held her shoulder length veil of illusion, and she carried a white orchid surrounded by while chrysanthemums. She was escorted to the altar by her father. Judy's gown was of white sat in styled with a slightly scooped neckline and three - quarter length sleeves. A slight train emerged from the bow accent on her full skirt. Lang, Meri dian, Calif. Matron of honor for both brides was Mrs. Carol E. Schu ler, Auburn, Wash. Joy's at tendant was Mrs. Leah A. Hoogendorn, Sacramento, and Judy's attendant was Mrs. Judy Conway, Lakeview. They wore gowns of turquoise taffeta with bell skirts and bow trim. Bead ed headdresses held short veils and tlicy carried bouquets of white chrysanthemums tied with turquoise ribbon. Susan Honnold, Mcdford, sis ter of Robert Blair, was the flower girl. Her dress was of white taffeta with turquoise sash, and she carried a basket of flowers. Lauren Boe and Stephen Ha ney were candlelightors. Charles H. Schuler, Auburn, Wash., was best man for his brother, Pat rick Schuler, and James L. Wil liams was best man for his nephew. Robert Blair. Ushers were Michael Brock, Lakeview, Harold E. Kerr, Prineville, and Roy C. Kerr, Lakeview, broth-' ers of the brides. Mrs. Kerr chose a turquoise and silver knit dress with flow ered pill box hat and black ac cessories. Mrs. Schuler's wool suit was also of turquoise, with flowered silk blouse and, black accessories. Mrs. Honnold wore a beige sheath dress with a fawn velvet mink trimmed hat and matching accessories. Mrs. Ray Williams, grandmother of Robert Blair, wore a blue taf feta dress with white hat and accessories. Their corsages were of white. carnations. A reception, under the direc tion of the Lutheran Guild, was held in the social hall of the church where white chrysan themums and daisies decorated the lace covered table that held the two wedding cakes. Cutting the cakes were Mrs. Fcrd Ettl, Meridian, Calif., aunt of the brides, and Mrs. Vic tor Hill, sister of Patrick Schu ler. Mrs. Edward Lang, aunt of the brides, poured coffee, and Mrs. Roy Kerr, sister-in-law of the brides, poured punch. Mrs. James Simonson was at t h e children's table and presiding at the gift tables were Mrs. Rainous Todd. Sutter. Calif., aunt of the brides: Margie Mat thews, Sacramento, and Mavis Kliewer, Lakeview. Attending to the guest books were Carole Saunders, Sacramento, and Jan ice Williams, Medford. Following the reception . Mr. and Mrs. Schuler left for a wedding trip to the coast and are now at home at 27A Betty Street, Ukiah, Calif. Both are graduates of Lakeview High School. The bride was graduat ed from Oregon Technical In stitute and the bridegroom re cently received his discharge from the Army, with the past two years spent in France. The bride's going-away costume con sisted of a three-piece wool suit with leopard hat and purse, and black accessories. She wore the orchid from her bouquet. The new Mrs. Blair changed to an avocado green wool dress with matching feathered hat and light brown accessories and the orchid from her bou quet.
