Caldwell of Red mond in a pretty single ring ceremony Oct 6 at the home of the bride's parents on Califor nia Avenue. The Rev. Ralph Richardson of the First Metho dist Church officiated. The young couple exchanged wedding vows before an impro vised altar before the fireplace which was decorated with gladi oli, carnations and pompons in fall colors, predominantly tan gerine to match the tapers. The bride was given in mar riage by her father. For ber wedding the wore a short white satin oocade sheath made with square neckline and cap sleeves and large self-material rose ac centing the waistline at t h e side. A dainty headdress of chif fon pearl trimmed leaves held the short illusion veil. She wore long white gloves and carried a bouquet of white carnations and ltly-of-the-valley centered with a white orchid. Her on'y jewelry was a heart shape pen dant set with a pearl which was borrowed from her mother. Nancy Kelley, Coos Bay, was maid of honor, dressed in a pale blue brocade frock similar to the bride's. Her veiled head dress was also blue. Her bou quet of white carnations was centered with tangerine carna tions. Pete Oas, Princville, was best man. Scott Linville, brother of the bride, lighted the tapers be fore the ceremony. Mrs. Linville wore for the oc casion a biege dress, accented with green embroidery and tan gerine carnation corsage. Mrs. Caldwell is the former Linda Lin ville. Photo by Guderian were served a buffet luncheon and the wedding cake which was three tiered, iced in white and encircled with tangerine carnations. Assisting with serv ing were Mrs. Everett Linville, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Rob ert Caldwell. Mrs. CaldwelJ is a graduate of Klam ath Union High School and at tended Southern Oregon Col lege. She has been an active member of Theta Rho Girls Club. Present for the ceremony were the bride's grandmother, Mrs. George R. Lewis, Prine villc, and her grandfather, E. H. Linville, Medford. The First Baptist Church on Sept. 8 was the setting for the marriage Nancy Lee Baker and David Walter Ham. Dr. Rob ert Stapp, pastor of the Yuba City Baptist Church officiated at the afternoon double ring cere mony. Background for the ceremony were floralabra arrangements of cream colored gladioli, white ta pers and red salada foliage. In back of the kneeling bench was one large candelabra against woodwardia fern. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Harrison Baker and was given in mar riage by her father. Mr. and Mrs. Riman Ham, San Antonio, Texas, are parents of the bride groom. Beulah Welch was the organ ist and Mrs. Vivian McKeehan and Norman Harvey were solo ists. The bridal gown of frosted lace was floor length with se quins outlining the scalloped neckline of the fitted bodice. The full skirt was cut in a point ed design draped over a second skirt of tulle with lace applique. A Swedish crown of seed pearls held in place the bouffant elbow veil of illusion. She carried a white Bible arrangement of white feathered carnations with a detachable corsage of yellow garnctte roses which the bride wore on her going away outfit. That ensemble was a deep blue Italian knit suit with hat of feathers in blue shades and black patent accessories Maid of honor was Sue Ann Owens and Mrs. Ronald Rob bins and Carol Frei were brides maids. They were dressed alike FURNITURE 5. APPLIANCES OW5 in short frocks of red satin with bustles at the skirt backs. Red satin slippers and brief red veils completed their attire. Each car ried a semi-crescent arrange ment of white ilkni pompons with gold makeup. Diane C o f f m a n, Ferndaie, Wash., and Lynn Kecne, Oak ridge, nieces of the bride, were candlelighters. They were dress ed in white satin dresses with red bustle backs, red slippers and head veils. Their wristlets were of red and white gladioli. Riman Ham was best man for his son and groomsmen were Max E. Baker, brother of the bride, and Tad Evatt. Ushers were Ronald Robbins and Philip Chamberlain. David Keenc, Oakridge. neph ew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Mrs. Baker wore for her daughter's wedding a pale aqua pure silk dress with beige ac cessories and corsage of gar nette roses. Mrs. Ham chose a dusty rose suit with navy blue accessories and corsage of pink elfe roses. The wedding reception took place in the parlors of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Decorations carried out the red and white theme of the wedding. The white tiered wedding cake was encir cled with red gladioli and was placed between silver cande labra on the bride's table. Serving cake were the bride's sisters, Mrs. W. 0. Keene, Oak ridge, and Mrs. Jack Coffman, Ferndaie, Wash., and her cou sin, Mrs. R. A. Marr, Chico, Calif.
