K Forgotten, Use Cotton IxZ ; By ANN LANDERS Dear Ann Landers: I enjoyed Jthe letter from the flat-chested 'school teacher who "filled in with fw. cotton wnat uon k ' " L.J tnvnnHan It was an amusing letter and seemed to make sense when I read it, but now I'm not so sure. I'm a fairly attractive 18-year-old fiiii another one of. those whom "God has forgotten." I have been tempted many times ;to go to a linRoric store and buy myself an improvea iiRiire but one thins holds me back, .What etfect would such deception have on a husband when he learned he had been tricked? Would he feel cheated and hold this trickery against his wife? -I hope my letter doesn't sound too stupid to print. I really would like an answer. KhAD FOR STUFFING Dear Roady: No real man would attach any Importance to this whole cotton pickln' Issue. , ; Go to the lingerie shop, Honey, take care of what God has for gotten. Dear Ann Landers: What can I do about a 46-ycar-old wife who " thinks she's a leenager? Our 17-year-old daughter Is a sensible, popular gal whose friends, both boys and g I r 1 s, enjoy congregating In our rumpus room. Wo arc not objecting in fact, we're happy to have them here, but I do believe that my wife should not hang around (wearing Capri pants and a low- cut blouse) the entire evening and behave like one of the kids, Jly wife Is an excellent 'danc er and Is up on all the latest, but our daughter tells me she finds it embarrassing when lier mother docs the mashed potato and the liorse, the rabbit, the monkey and the rest of those foolish dances. My wife Insisls she Is really chaperoning the kids without let' ting them know It. I Would like Students Handle Discipline At OU i EUGENE IUPII President i. Arthur Flcmming of the Univer sity of Oregon says students themselves will be in large part responsible for campus discipline this year. Flemming told his Monday news conference the program being adopted this year by the univer sity goes as far as any institution in the country In placing respon sibility for student conduct on the student. '' A faculty-student conduct com mittee may delegate Its job to a '. student court. ; ; Among Items Included In t h c "program is liberaliiing closing hours or women students over SI. : The program also emphasizes ; the university will not ask special treatment for any student ac cused of violating city or state laws. your views on this. Thank you. TWINKLE TOES' HUSBAND Dear Husband: Chaperoning my eye. Your wile is reliving tier girlhood and giving that 17-year old a run for her money. Parents should be at h 0 m e when their teenagers entertain but they should not plunk them selves in the middle of the group and try to be one of them. Mothers who are young In ap pearance, and lively hoofers as well, should make every effort to cut down the voltage In the pres ence o( their daughter's nay friends. Often without realizing! It, they are competing with their daughter and tills spells deep trouble. Dear Ann Landers: I have been married for .10 years to a man who is turning into an ovcr-scscd alcoholic. He drinks almost a case of beer every night and even morejin weekends. When 1 tell him he Is becoming an alcoholic he points to his work-record ( ho has not missed a day in six years) and insists that people cannot be alcoholics if they stick to beer and work regularly. 1 admit it's amazing that his work-record is so good. I also find it amazing that he can be so amorous just before he passes out which he docs almost every night. Is it possible that he Is right and I am wrong? Can it be that a person who th inks only beer is safe (ram alcoholism even if he docs pass out regularly? He says bctvr makes him feci good but lie insists he has never been drunk in his life. How about this? AGGRAVATED EDNA Dear Aggravated: Your hus band Is full of hops. Hrrr con tains alcohol anil a person can get knee-walking drunk on tliree bottles or less depending on his threshold of tolerance. lleer drunks are especially dif ficult to help because they usually deny lhat they arc nlroholtcs. And there Is no help for a tcrson who refuses to admit thai drinking Is a problem. Are you tempted to smoke be cause the crowd does?
