Ruphane Manncring sang sev- RR GET-TOGETHER The June meeting of the North ern-Southern Neighbors was held in Stronghold at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Tonelle. Georgel Brautlacht was honored by the! group on his recent retirement af ter many years as signal main- tainer with the Southern Pacific Company. Mr. and Mrs. Braut lacht will make their home in Gazelle, Calif. A patio potluck supper will be hosted in July by Mr. and Mrs. A. Franco. cral selections during the pro gram. After installation the group was entertained by the Barbershop- pers, singing chorus from Klam ath Falls led by Everett Ball Two quartets within the chorus The Chopins and the Krater Khords, were also featured. The chorus dedicated their songs to Jo Zadina and Lester Hoback, past worthy matron and patron. A skit, in pantomime, per formed by Connie Wampler and Lynda Freid drew applause at the close of the evening's entertainment. Naomi Shrine The officers and members of Naomi Shrine No. 5, Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, re cently honored the fathers of the Shrine group. Host and host ess for the evening were Betty and James Hunter. The newly-appointed district! deputy, Lois Murphy, read spe cific instructions from the su preme worthy high priestess, and! during the course of the meeting1 gave other instructions as neces sary to the officers. Out-of-town guests at the meet ing were Frances Reese and Nell Hcrshbergcr from Nativity Shrine in Grants Pass. Following the meeting, refresh ments were served in the dining room by Lloyd and Lois Murphy, Olive Hanna and Ora Geinger. The tables were decorated with small cars depicting the occupa tions of the fathers present. The marriage of Janet Cholaine Moore and David Norman Fris- void was an event of June 8 in the Merrill Presbyterian Church. Floralabra held pink candles, white gladioli and pink carna tions accented with garnet red bows, and in back of the altar' worn pink candles in bronze can- delabra Ribnons in shades of pink marked U.e pews. The bride is the daughter of -Mr. and Sirs. Wendell Moore and was given in marriage by her mother and father. She wore a gown of Chantilly lace fashioned with basque bodice and chapel train. The neckline was defined with pearl and sequin embroi dery. The elbow length veil of peau de soie, held by a sequin trimmed cabbage rose, was loaned to the bride by Mrs. Rob-1 ert Diller. Her pearl necklace was a gift of tlie bridegroom. The bridal bouquet was a cas cade of white carnations and stephanotis centered with a gar net rosebud corsage which she carried on a white Bible. Maid of honor was Sandra Ca- han of Merrill. Bridesmaids were Joyce Noonan, Merrill, and Tree- ca Collins, Phoenix, Ore. AU three wore identical frocks of pink ny lon organza and matching picture hats. Their slippers were in shades of pink to match the rib bons of their old fashioned nose gays of pink carnations and pink rosebuds. Mrs. Moore wore for the occa sion a dusty rose lace dress w ith pink hat and beige accessories. Mrs. Fnsvold wore a mauve lace dress, pink hat and gloves, beige BRIDGE TARTY SUMMER LAKE Mrs. Bea trice Harvey entertained the Pais ley Birthday Bridge Club at a luncheon June 11. Ruth Brattain won high; Gladys Clark, second high; Maxine Hope, low, and Gwen Withers received honors. James Chance sang "0 Prom ise Me" and "The Wedding Prayer." After the church ceremony guests attended a reception at the home of the bride's parents. The cake was served by Mrs. Bill Moore, sister-in-law of the bride. and Mrs. George Arnold, the bridegroom's sister. Rice packets were passed by the bride's niece, Laurie Moore and Linda Beasly, and bride groom's cake by Norman Fris vold, nephew of the bridegroom. Mrs. Ross Ragland played the wedding marches at tlie organ Kent Callahan was the soloist. For her wedding the bride chose a beige street length dress of lace with long sleeves and high neck line. A small flower hat was briefly veiled. On a white Bible, she carried two cymbidium or chids surrounded with pink roses and pink carnations.
