Reno Play Attracts Group MAKE VISIT Uulette Norton and Frank Guerin. grand royal matron and patron of the Grand Court of Oregon, Grand Officers Visit Amaranth Grand official meeting of Friendship Court, Order of the Amaranth, was held in the Scottish Rile Temple following the dinner served by the ways and means committee under the chairman ship of Thelma Colvin, associate matron. The meeting was called to order in regular form bv Velma Krauss. royal matron and Frank McCor nack. royal patron. Laulette Norton and Frank Gue nn. grand royal matron and pa tron, were introduced by the grand marshal. Ethel Uiomis. and escorted to the throne by lxona Angel and Mary Thompson, mar lulls of Friendship Court. Other grand officers attending were Wade Arstell. associate pa tron; Marguerite lcmpicton, con ductress: Bettv Day, associate conductress; Burmta Eastman, marshal in the west: Rhea liar- standard bearer; Margaret Lilly, wisdom; Hope Arslill, hislor- in; Lvnn Harris, sworn nearer; Phoebe Guerin. page; Olga Bair, fraternal correspondent: Murrey Adams, commissioner: Marion Lil ly, trustee: Thelma Child, lectur er: Wayne Eastman, William Goen. and Aili Salver, assistant lecturers. They were also escorted by Leona Angel and Mary Thompson to the associate conductress, conductress, and as sociate matron and were present ed W illi souvenirs. They were then escorted to the throne and pre sented with gifts from die court and the royal matron and pa tron. Entertainment was provided by the program committee chair man, Jim Hunter, who present ed a skit. "The Mock Wedding." The characters were Jim Hunt er, bridegroom. Norma Uerlings, bride; lommie lliompson. minis utcr; Jack Schulzc. mother: Lou ie Flitch, father, and Boh Davi son, flower girl. An addendum was provided bv Roxy Ann Court. They presented Laulette Norton. Frank Guerin and Velma Krauss with gilts. Refreshments were served in the dining room by Alice Davi son, assisted by M a y Smidth. Seideman, Klamath Falls, are now grandparents for tlie first time The new arrivals, Gregg Darin weighed lour pounds, seven ounces, and Erie Wade tipped the scales at five pounds, one ounce. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George Geiger. Aloha, Ore. Mrs. Anna Cough, Klamath Kails, is maternal great-grandmother to the little bovs. Prosperity Lodge Meets . Charlette Anderson, noble grand, conducted Die June 20 meeting of Prsoperity Rebekah Lodge, the last meeting before recessing for July and August. Lela Olson. Salem, was intro duced and welcomed.
