The committee administers the' federal marketing order regulat ing the handling of Irish potatoes grown in Modoc and Siskiyou counties in California and in all counties except Malheur in Ore gon. The club also agreed to hold the cake sale at Michael's Store in Dairy. Alter the sale the club made $22 and is going to give $10 to the hospi tal fund. Another meeting was held in April at the home of our leader,. Jack Rogers, and at this meeting: we discussed our pigs and me feeding of each. Everyone has his pic except two members of the club. Hen Produces Record Size Egg OREGON CITY (UPD-A barn yard hen at Molalla has produced a world's record size egg. The hen, owned by Mrs. Harvey Nelson, produced the huge egg last April 22. Its record sue was established by the poultry depart ment of Oregon Slate University. The egg weighs 345 grams. The Slolalla egg is 4 7 inches long and 2.83 inches in girlh. SHASTA (MIAMI'S The April meeting of the Shasta Champs was held at the home ol Danny and Bob Benson. We dis cussed the year's activities and also lined up what kind of pigs wcr W'ere going to have. We also agreed to have a work day. It was decided that W'e would work on the Babe Ruth ball park. Nan cy Benson served refreshments. The -May meeling of the Shas ta Champs was held at the Costcl home. The president called the meeting to order and we had the flag salute.
