JUNE NORK has re turned home after four weeks at Beatty with her daughter Mrs, Marvin Walker, and family. Mrs, Walker was In Klamath Valley Hospital for two weeks with a fractured skull received when ; thrown from a horse. . MRS. SANTFORp JONES Is homo from Klamath Valley Hos nital where she had surgery. Mrs. Bob Cahill also had surgery at Klamath Valley and is now home with her family. MR. AND MRS. HALEY SHAW and Johnnie, former LangeU Val l.v residents, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Burnett Other visitors were Mr. and Mrs. uonei Nash and family of Tulelake. The Khaws own Pinehurst Motel at! Weed. MR. AND MRS. RAY DO RAN and son of Salem took her moth er, Mrs. Florence Hankins, back to Colorado to visit three sisters and their families. On May 18; she became ill and was rushed to Grand Junction Hospital. She is doing fine, but the Dorans will leave her there for a few weeks. MR. AND MRS. MARVIN BROWN, Pat, and Mike of Med ford spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs, Robert Hartley and family. MRS. BIRDIE BURK will be . honored with a tea on her 88th hlrthdav on Mav S7 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at me Bonanza - brarv. Mrs. Cecil Haley and Mrs. Harold 'Williams are In charge and invite all friends and rela tives lo attend. REV. AND MRS. CARL SMITH and family have moved back to Klamath Falls to live. RICHARD CLARK has complet ed his basic training at San Di ego and Is spending a two-week leave with his parents, Mr, and Mrs. W. W. Clark. MR. AND MRS. TOMMY HA LEY had as recent guests, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Moen and daughters, Bonnie and Diana, of Livermore, Calif. The Moens are former residents of Tulelake. Her father, T. W. Barnt, was employed there with the Department of Mo tor Vehicles. British Co lumbia, where they were hunitng grizzly and black bear. MRS. KARL KUJAC and Mrs Robert Holl attended the flower show in Oakland last week. They also visited Mrs. Holl's brother! and family, Mr. and Mrs. V. H. Loveness, in Hillsborough, and Mrs. Kujac's daughter and hus band, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Evans, in Sacramento. CARL MOORE of Sutherlin. Ore., visited last week with his sister-in-law, Mrs. Lloyd Lubbes, and family. MRS. EMMA WILSON accom panied her on Earl to Portland last week. Earl's wife will return with them after- spending some time with their daughter and fam ily. MR. AND MR8. HAROLD O'MLEY spent last weekend in Orland with her brother, John Mozlneo, and family. They also met her mother, Minnie Mozingo, there, who arrived by bus from Maryvllle, Mo., for an extended i visit. MR. AND MRS. JOE MEADOR had as a guest recently their son, Lt. Jon Meador, from Honolulu. FORT ROCK MR. AND MRS. SORRUZOA of Andrews arrived Wednesday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Law rence Rice. MR. AND MRS. WAYNE DU BOIS visited recently in Corvallis with their daughters and families, the Steve Brazils and the Bob Powells. They enjoyed seeing their new grandson, Steven Wayne Brazil, who was born April 24. His mother is the former Judy Du Bois. SILVER LAKE' J. D. CORUM has been released from St. Vincent Hospital, Port land. He and Mrs. Corum have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Her bert McCormick and Bill Walker in Eugene before returning home. FORT KLAMATH MR. AND MRS. IRA F. OREM have moved back to their local ranch from Merrill for the season. MRS. JOHN ESKILDSEN, the former Linda Pope, and her two small daughters have returned to their Portland home after a visit here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred L. Pope, at the fope ranch south of Fort Klamath. MR. AND MRS. EMMETT Mc- KEEVER are back at their home after spending the past several months in Klamath Falls. Aslo returning were Mrs. McKeevcr's sister and husband, the William Tuckers, who wintered in- Klam ath Falls. MRS. ADARINE CHRYSLER of Fort Lauderdale. Fla arrived last week for a visit with her sis ter, brother-in-law, and mother Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Bing ham and Mrs. Bertha Hcnslcy. The latter is improved following an illness. MR. AND MRS. JAMES VAN WORMER spent the Mothers' Day weekend at Eugene with their son. Douglas, a sophomore at the university of Oregon, and his roommate, Milton Oshiru, Hono lulu. Accompanying them were Douglas' paternal grandparents, the Harold Wimers. MR. AND MRS. WILLIAM ZUMBRUN, Mr. and Mrs. Ira F. Orem, Mrs: E. M. Brattain, Blaine Brattain, and Mollis Kizcr were among local people attending fu neral services Tuesday afternoon in Grants Pass for Dr. J. L. Helms, pioneer Fort Klamath randier, who died May 12. Inter ment was in the 100F Cemetery in Mcdlord. MR. AND MRS. LOYAL LOVE NESS, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holl, and granddaughter, Susan Holl, spent Mother's Day in Or land with Mrs. lna Loveness. NEW IMNE CREEK MR. AND MRS. HARRY MOR RIS left Thursday morning for Caldwell, Idaho, to be with his mother who is in the hospital there. His parents live at Nam- pa, Idaho, whore they stayed part of the time, returning Sunday. REV. LYNN HOOVER of Prine- vllle conducted the Mother's Day services at the First Baptist Church. Rev.
